Hellen comes from a family of a single mother, with 5 children. She was married but she separated from the husband because he was abusive and very irresponsible. When she was due to give birth to her last born, the husband disappeared and she was forced to give birth at home with the help of the neighbours, he came back some months after that. She decided it was high time she moved on because she was living with a man who didn’t care about his family.

Since they were depending on their father to cater for their daily needs which sometimes he didn’t provide, the children are on the mercy of well wishers.

Hellen is in need of nutrition and education support.
